Switch behind firewall
Hi
I have a few switches behind a firewall I can do SNMP queries to them but the ping is diabled.
The problem is that when i add the switch to SIM i comes up as critical. I have a task hardware status poll that uses SNMP for the specific ip:s but that disabled it still comes upp as critical after i have added it to SIM.
How should i set up status polling on the switch so that it uses only SNMP. on the Global protocoll setting ping is always enabled either icmp or tcp is there a way around this. I would not like to enable ping through the firewall.
Regards
Jari
