System Management Timeout Errors After Upgrade

Hi,

I have recently upgrade to PSP 7.40 on my Compaq DL380 server. When I attempt to open the System Management Homepage I receive the error below. Can anyone help?

"A timeout occured while loading data for the HP System Management Homepage Which May result in missing or incomplete information"

HP System Management Homepage
(version 2.1.3.132, it's released AFTER PSP 7.40) from http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/23560.html

Hi, I have installed the version as suggested but I still receive the same error message. Any other ideas?

This is most likely caused by the Version Control Agent. I had this happen to me as well.

If VCA can't find the repository, it sends up this flag after it times out.

If you look at the System Management home page log, it should show a timeout of about 45 seconds on the VCA. Just make sure you point the VCA to a VC Repository that it has perfmissions to and you should be all set.

Sorry this is the first time I have used the HP System Management tool before so I am not sure what you mean by VCA. Please can you let me know how I can point to the VCA to a VC Repository?

Hi,

The problem is now resolved. I added "localhost" with the SNMP Service (Security Properties), Accept SNMP packets from these hosts.
