System name only IP address
Hi I have 10 printers and only 2 have a real name the other one have only the ip. I create a dns for each printer and nothing happend is still only the ip address. Can we edit the system name in the same thing of IM SP2.3?

Even with forward and reverse DNS sometimes I have seen non-compute devices (like switches, printers) never be able to resolve a name. Your best method is to delete the devices and add entries for them in the Windows hosts file:
\%SYSTEMROOT%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
Then re-add the devices in hpSIM...
\%SYSTEMROOT%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
Then re-add the devices in hpSIM...
