System type

Trying out CIM for the first time, Autodiscovery lits several items as unknown. Is ther a way to edit this after discovery.

Did you have Discovery Filters turned on and then check mark the system types you want to discover.

Yes I did, and it did discovery the device by correct name and all, but the system type is listed as unknown.

I've seen this before when the SNMP setting aren't correct on the box. It's can't tell it's own system type.

Have you checked the SNMP settings on the box?

No need to edit any entry.For a system to be known ,you will have to install management agents on the managed nodes.Just install the agents on all the required systems and tun hardware polling task and system identification task.You will see the desired results.
