Task Error - Update Software and Firmware
When running a task from IM7 sp2.3, I receive the following error;
On the server containing IM7 - Cannot update local Insight Manager 7 device.
On all other servers - Version Control agent is not available.
I have configured the trust relationships, and configured the version control agent repository on the IM7 server, and the version control agent on all other server.
Am I missing something? Any help would be appreciated.

You cannot use the Group Configuration task on IM to update the IM Server if that is what you're trying to do here.
You need to update the IM Server separately. You can update it from the VCA.
You say on all other servers the VCA is not available. Could you clarrify this a bit? Do you mean it's not showing up correctly on the IM Devices display?
If so, try running the Software Version Status polling task against the Servers.
Also, have you configured the VCA to reference a particular Softpaq?
