Update Reference Support Pack.
Is it possible to update the Support Pack?
I would like to update the 7.0 support pack with the latest nic drivers. I've tried just adding the files to the catalog but then it says it's something wrong with the support pack. Also tried to update the .xml file with no luck.

Re: Update Reference Support Pack.
Hello -
If you're running VCRM, you can actually create a custom support pack and include the new NIC drivers. Once you've completed this task, you can then push out the updates from IM based on the new custiom support pack.

Re: Update Reference Support Pack.
Just a note, the Support Pack as issued by HP is a tested bundle. This means the components have been tested together.
I always keep the softpaqs as a separate entity and download the additional software, ROM Updates etc. to a different directory.
The VCRM is configured to see all the directories, and the new items show up in the VCA list, but do not affect the overall status as reported back to IM.
I chose as my reference the softpaq, I'm less concerned with the updates to that.
