Updates Version Control Repository

If I try to update the Repository, I get the following messages in the log of Version Control Repository Manager:
"The automatic repository update failed because an error occurred while processing the download site catalog. [ details ]". Details:
Error for file: C:\hp\hpsmh\data\webapp-data\vcrepository\catalog.xml
Error code: 2147500037
The following tags were not closed: catalog, cpq_bundle, related_files.

And another Error:
Error for file: C:\hp\hpsmh\data\webapp-data\vcrepository\catalog.xml
Error code: 2147500037
End element was missing the character '>'.

Any idea, what's going wrong?
