Updating Mibs

I rebuilt my CIMS server from scratch this summer, and recently upgraded to version 5.1.
I am not receiving all of the alerts that I used to. When I rebuilt, I used the current Mib file that was on HP's site at the time. My question is, do I have to reload all of the previous Mib packages? I have 10 versions, beginning with 6.40A.

When you upgrade to SIM 5.1, you get the latest MIB support at that time (baseline is 7.60 in SIM 5.1). 7.70 is out now, so you can update that one and you will be current. Not receiving events, I would make sure trap destinations are set of course, and then make sure you are not filtering any events from SIM (Options/Events/Event Filter settings).

You will see in coming MIB update packages that they will be full kits (so you won't have to update several MIB kits, only the latest), and you will notice that it will show up in the "Help/About" of SIM to know what MIB kit baseline is there.

I am running the 7.70 Mibs. I have no filters set up and the trap destinations are correct. I am getting alerts, but not all of them. I used to receive alerts on our tape library but don't now. I receive alerts for the other traps in that Mib (cpqida.mib). Since the 7.60 release, the alerts have been hit and miss.
