Upgrade now or wait?
My HPSIM 4.2SP2 install is working well (including OpenSSH on a Win2K3 DC and all the other fairly troublesome parts.
The only thing that I really want is for more flexibility in the custom command variables, and native support for sending SMS via GSM modem.
I looked at the new features listed on the download page and most don't apply to my environment (no SANs, only Windows-based ProLiant servers).
Will I gain anything by upgrading now, or only face bugs?
Also, will version 4.2 continue to be updated at all?

Re: Upgrade now or wait?
Well, the release is 5.0, and that 0 does indicate it's new!
You've seen the release notes and if there's nothing that you need, then I'd say hold off for a bit.
Keep an eye on the forums and see what comes up.
