Upgrade SIM to SQL database?

I would like to upgrade our SIM installation to a SQL database that would be hosted on a seperate server. Unfortunately the person who installed SIM to begin with just installed is with the MSDE database. Is there an easy way to upgrade to a SQL without reinstalling, or do I just have to reinstall?

You can upgrade your MSDE database to SQL by installing SQL on the SIM server. This will be one of the options during the SQL install.

Another option would be to reinstall SIM and specify the remote SQL server for the SIM database.
