If you're using pre-7.30 agents they use a local password unique per server, if you're using 7.30 or 7.40 the agents will use your windows-account (don't know how Unix/Linux works).
For trust from SIM server to agents you need to make sure the sim server is in the list of trusted hosts, either by name or by certificate.

I have tried using my local Administrator password to login to the VCA but it has failed. But when I used the Operator account with no password funny enough I managed to login. I then tried to set my VCA to direct to my SIM server but it does not find the server. WHat password do I enter here, the one configured for my SIM server? I also have tried creating a trust cert but it is not successful.
