VCRM and Linux
I know this question has been asked before some years ago but I'm wondering if it has changed.
We have a large number of Linux severs (RedHat) as well as many Windows servers all proliants of various types.
We have VCRM configured (V6.0.0.840) within HP-SIM and VCA on all hosts. When I say large I mean in the low thousands.
windows online ROM Flash files show up but only the BIOS flash for Linux show up. However, we have all of the corresposponding .scexe linux online flash components such as SMARTarrays etc.
Even if VCA cannot deploy the flash to Linux it would be nice to be able to see the flash components listed in the respository so it can be manually downloaded.
So have I missed something here or is it that VCRM still won't handle Linux and why are the BIOS's OK?
