Version 4.1 released!
HP Systems Insight Manager 4.1 has been released and is available for download at http://software.hp.com/portal/swdepot/displayProductsList.do?category=ISS
Please note if you start at http://www.hp.com/servers/manage --> HP Systems Insight Manager to reach the download, some of the intermediate pages haven't gotten their updates yet and still refer to 4.0; however, you will get to the right download page.
One thing to be aware of: while the Data Migration Tool to upgrade to hpSIM from IM7 (Windows) and Servicecontrol Manager (HP-UX) is present, THERE IS NOT A FACILITY TO MOVE FROM hpSIM 4.0 TO 4.1. That capability has been holding up release of 4.1 and the decision was made to release 4.1 and follow it up with an update that lets 4.0 users move to 4.1.

Re: Version 4.1 released!
David,
Thanks for the message. It is nice that 4.1 is available for those not using SIM yet, however those on SIM still have to wait.
Any ideas on when there will be an update to allow existing 4.0 users migrate to 4.1?
Thanks,
Dean.

Re: Version 4.1 released!
I second that question. Is there an ETA for something that will allow 4.0 users to go to 4.1? If not, I'm considering uninstalling 4.0 and installing 4.1 over the weekend.

Re: Version 4.1 released!
I'll be interested to know too as I am running version 4.0
