Version Control Agent Error
Hi,
I am running IM 7SP2 and I have a couple servers that are reporting errors in relation to the eversion control agent. The errors are:
VCA1093282040 --> The Version Control Agent encountered an error while obtaining the software and firmware inventory.
Not Enough Storage Is Available To Proccess This Command --> An error occured while performing an operating system specific operation.
The servers are operating normally otherwise.
Any information or idea's would be greatly appreciated.
Thanx

Re: Version Control Agent Error
We are having exactly the same issue, with an ML350 G2, with a single processor.
Also, removed all the 5.4 agents, and used the RDP to push V7.1 support pack.
Everything else appears OK, except this, and the BIOS of the machine is back level 09/25/2001, but want to use the SIM deploy to update it, but with this VC Agent failure, the link to configure the VC Agent does not come up.
Thanks,

Re: Version Control Agent Error
Sorry, wish they had a content searching function in this forum,
Found it under the thread "Uninstall Version Control Agent" with the magic bunny icon.
It turned out to be the SNMP settings, not the Enable sets in the Agent controls, but what addresses where allowed to send to the host.
We put the loopback 127.0.0.1 and the servers address in the SNMP config and away you go.
Take Care,
