Version Control Agent List for All Servers
Hello,
I am looking for a comprehensive list of "Version Control Agent" software.
I am trying to bring up-to-date the software but apparently there are so many versions with incompatibilies with Operating Systems, Platforms, Hardware it is a labyrinth with no end.
Operating Systems:
- Windows Server 2003 32-bits
- Windows Server 2003 64-bits
- Windows Server 2008 32-bits
- Windows Server 2008 64-bits
Hardware:
- Proliant BL
- Proliant DL
- Proliant ML
from 360-38- etc G1 through G8...
Any extensive list on HP site?
Thanks,
Dom

Re: Version Control Agent List for All Servers
Hello,
Unfortunately these versions are failing...
Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 2 x86
Proliant DL360 G5
Faulting application cp026910.exe, version 7.3.5.0, faulting module cp026910.exe, version 7.3.5.0, fault address 0x0000229b.
Faulting application cpqsetup.exe, version 2.6.0.0, faulting module vcasetup.dll, version 7.3.5.0, fault address 0x0007e5f7.
Any idea why?
Thanks,
Dom

Re: Version Control Agent List for All Servers
Hello,
Did you try to rename the .exe to .zip and see if you can unzip the file?
i've downloaded both installers and they worked just fine. I sometimes see that the download breaks before completing. Is the size of the download correct according to the info on the download page?

Re: Version Control Agent List for All Servers
Hello,
I am trying to upgrade the HP System Homepage with the latest version provided by HP.
Server Windows Server 2003
HP System Management Homepage 7.2.5.3
After the upgrade the service will never start giving an error:
Event Type: Error Event Source: Application Error Event Category: (100) Event ID: 1000 Date: 8/31/2015 Time: 8:01:53 AMUser: N/AComputer: Server Name Description: Faulting application smhstart.exe, version 7.2.5.3, faulting module ntdll.dll, version 5.2.3790.5583, fault address 0x0004cca2.
What is the root cause of this issue? What could be done to resolve it?
It seems to get the same kind of issue..
Thanks,
Dom
