Version Control Agent upgrade - reboot needed?
Hi,
I have received yesterday a notification for a critical security issue linked to Version Control Agent with version < 2.1.5
I need to know if the upgrade of my version control agents will require a reboot to be effective or not.
I tried to upgrade one of them locally, the VCA now indicates that the version is updated, but when I run a report I still get the previous version.
I tried also through an install task within HPSIM and there the VCA still appears with the old version...
I'm a bit lost.
Thanks
Denis

Re: Version Control Agent upgrade - reboot needed?
As far as I've been doing any upgrades, either locally on the machine or remotely I've always gotten status=2 from the VCA upgrade, mening reboot is required, so I would say it's a pretty good chance you need to reboot for the new version to be active.
