Version Control Agent.
At my workplace, we've just purchased some HPs, and I'm attempting to set up the basic infrastructure to allow us to keep these up to date. This has involved commissioning a Version Control repository, and Version control agents on each of the servers (DL180 G5s).
After the repository has populated successfully, the agents show the updates available, however, each of the checkboxes for install are greyed out, with the phrase "agent settings prohibit installing software" showing when you hover the mouse over one.
Being new to the whole HP System Management suite, I may be missing something obvious, but I can't see any of the settings that should affect this.
Anyone able to provide an answer on how to configure the agent such that the updates are selectable for install?
Many thanks,
Rich

Re: Version Control Agent.
Version Control is based on the ProLiant Support Pack which is not available for 100 series, only 300 and above...

Re: Version Control Agent.
Thanks for the answers guys. I'd discovered the answer late on Friday; the issue at hand was the location of security. I'd had operator level access at each of the clients' Management Homepages, but not at the repository.
Changing the repository security such that the connecting account had op status cleared things up nicely.
The repository now works nicely.
Thanks for the time spent answering though; much appeciated.
Cheers,
Rich
