Version Control Agents V2.1.1.70
I upgraded using PSP V7.51 on one of our 2003 Windows severs (DL360G3) and have not been able to start the VCA on the server. I get the following error.
"Could not start the HP Version Control Agent service on Local Computer
Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion."
File Version 2.1.1.720 HP Version Control Agent
I did upgraded using the same procedures on another 2003 Windows server and had good results (DL360G4).
Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot?

Re: Version Control Agents V2.1.1.70
That is not the agent that installs with 7.51, that is 2.1.4.750.
Have you rebooted the server since the upgrade, it usually requires it.
If you have, you could try running cp005770.exe directly which should install the agent. It may also give you a better error message if there is a problem.

Re: Version Control Agents V2.1.1.70
Wanted to let you know that by installing the version suggested it worked. When I went into the system homepage I only saw the VCA so then I installed the V7.51 PSP and all is back to normal.
Thank you
