Version Control Manager
Everytime I start the manager I get the message that the application is unavailable. I reinstalled HP SIM as a final resort but even this doesn't work. Installation on my test machine works fine (A Dell Server!!!).
The VC Agent can't find a valid repository. Installation of VCM worked fine with an initial upload of a support pack. So has anyone some ideas. Thanks in advance

Re: Version Control Manager
Are there any VCRM Options in HPSIM, under Options? that might indicate the VCRM didn't install properly.

Re: Version Control Manager
I reinstalled with No initial download, but still no Application available.
When I click Options -- VCR the following appears (See Attachment). A trust is established I think but maybe this the whole problem. How can I resolve this?

Re: Version Control Manager
They way I got the VCRM to work again:
Remove the VCA agent, SMH v2.0 and the VCRM from your HP SIM server.
Re-run the v4.2 installation, but this time only choose a custom installation, you are given the option to install only SMH v2.0 and the VCRM again.
Install these and reboot. Setup a local Server Admin user on the server, and login into the SMH v2.0. Check you can then access the VCRM OK. You should now be able to use the VCRM correctly.
Remember in this new version, the VCRM uses System Operating system authentication, as described in Chap 13 of the installation guide.
