Version Control Repository Manager...
Hi
I have some problems with VCRM.
I have installed hpsim5, but in hpsim i can't find any way to control or populate the repository.
The service is running...
I have tried to uninstall and resinstall VCRM (then i populated repository at installation),but i still don't see any link or button in hpsim.
b.t.w i am a totally newbie at this.

Re: Version Control Repository Manager...
Chapter 9 of this document should help explain the different ways you can get the repository populated:

Re: Version Control Repository Manager...
The repository can be either manually or automatically populated.
I use manual as I prefer the control. Here's how I set it up.
Create a top level directory, with a sub-directory for each Agent version you want and a non-softpaq directory.
Download the complete PSP 7.40 (and any others and expand them into the repository directories.
Download any firmware releases for Servers, array controllers etc. into the non-softpaq directory.
From HPSIM, select the Server that the VCRM resides on (click on the Server name not the HW icon link), open the Links Tab and go to the VCRM.
You can configure the Repository settings here
