A2998A UPS Beep Problem

Hello!

Had to shutdown the 2 UPS' for the weekend, and one came up fine. The other has all 3 LED's flashing every second and beeps at the same time. I am able to bypass the UPS and the machine is working now. Any thoughts?

Hi Jan!

The A2998A is one of the older HP 3KVA UPS. It could be about 10 - 15 years old, but we have replaced the batteries.

Hello Emil,
my only sugestion is to try manual or troubleshooting documents on HP pages. Or replace the UPS... :) .Probably UPS wants tell you Good Bye... :)

Hi Jan!

Did check the manual, and it does not have an entry for all 3 lights flash and beeping. It is on the way out, wanted it to go out gracefully. :-)
