Cache not available after hard drive replacement

Hello,
we have a ProLiant DL380 Gen9. The cache hard disk of an array was defective. We exchanged this again for a 400 GB SAS SSD. Unfortunately we cannot add them to the cache.It shows the defective Disk (already replaced) and the new Disk. Both in Bay1, Slot 1.

Hello

kindly make sure the  SSD is configured as cache as per HPE document.

And any change ine cache module pls disable the cach and add SSD and re enable the cache.

Make sure the date is backed up before performing any activity on the storage

if still there is any cocnern kindly reach HPE support team.
