core dump when install HPPM (Setup)

Do you wish to use SSL to communicate with HP Power Manager? [yN]:
Please enter a port to use for web communications [80]: 80
Is your UPS connected to a network? [yN]:
Please select a serial port to search for a UPS device on:
1) /dev/tty2p0
2) /dev/tty3p0
[1]: 2
Looking for serial devices:
Trying: SerialHID
terminate called after throwing an instance of 'dcl::CDeviceExceptionObject*'
[HP ARIES32]: Core file for 32-bit PA-RISC application
[HP ARIES32]: /opt/DevMan/DMSetup saved to /opt/DevMan/core.DMSetup.
./Setup[376]: 12623 Abort(coredump)

Any idea ?

Sure about the port???

What system model is it?

(better to place such questions to hp-ux section next time)

Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: core dump when install HPPM (Setup)

Sorry, I was asking about the server.

Believe me, almost nobody knows what you are asking about without soem more details ( you should tell you are connecting an UPS to an Integrity server model rx____ running hp-ux 11.__ ...)

Hope this helps!

Torsten.
