Does HP Web Jetadmin 10.4 SR9 needs Java to work?

We have  "HP Web Jetadmin 10.4 SR9" and management is asking to remove Java from servers since Oracle Java is a paid software from now on.

Does HP webjet admin really needs java ?

I think you may get a better answer from HP rather then HPE for this question. Not sure, someone may still help
