SolutionHello,
It is recommended to update the server's iLO firmware and then the server's BIOS.
You may download the HPE Integrated Lights-Out 4 (iLO 4) firmware and the server's BIOS from HPE Support Center.
Before performing the above procedure ensure that you have a full backup of the data stored on the server and arrange for a downtime and then perform the updates. Once iLO is updated, restart the server. Then update the server's BIOS and then restart the server.,
Regards,

Re: error code on dl380p gen 8
Hello Nicholas,
Since the iLO is accessible, you could access the iLO and update the BIOS and iLO firmware from the iLO interface itself and check if that makes a difference.
You could refer to this link for the same: https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docId=sd00001038en_us&page=GUID-D7147C7F-2016-0901-06D0-0000000007D7.html
If the issue remains then we would request you to log a case with HPE support to look into the logs further so that they can diagnose the issue and recommend part replacement is needed.
