How to About Hardware ?

Hello everyone,

I received an HP-Proliant server with Windows 2019 server standard, when viewing the device manager, I noticed that those drivers are missing. Is there any way to know what hardware they are? Or how I could look for the drivers on the HP site.

Re: How to About Hardware ?

Hello,

The best course of action is to install the latest Service Pack for ProLiant (SPP). The SPP contains all the firmware and drivers for HPE servers. You will need to know the specific generation of your server (Gen10, Gen9...).

You will need a HPE passport and the server must have a active warranty to access the SPP download.

Hope this helps.

Re: How to About Hardware ?

Hello,

  • You may browse to HPE Support Center, search with the name of the server model in question. In the search results, click the tab "Drivers and Software" and in the list click on the server model.
  • This open that server's support page. Here, click the tab "Drivers and Software" once again and then select button 'Drivers'.
  • In the dropdown menu "Subtype" select "System Management" and install the Chipset drivers, iLO Channel interface drivers and iLO Automatic Server recovery drivers and install them, restarting the server after each install.
  • You may repeat this procedure for other components.

Re: How to About Hardware ?

1. Login to the WIndows Server as Administrator

2. Load HPE SPP and perform the system update

3. Reboot the server

That's all folks!
