HP DL160 g6 POST code 627
Hello everyone! There is a server that started loading with the post code "627 invalid or unknown sku chassis id". BIOS and BMC firmware are the latest. I have been fighting with it for 4 days, I cleaned all the contacts, installed the firmware again. When flashing BMC, after rebooting during initialization, it issues "waiting for BMC initialization ..........timeout". Please help me solve the problem.
Status of BMC - Working, BMC Firmware Revision - 04.26, BMC/IPMI FW date - May/08/2013, BMC SDR Version:2.18.1.35, Warehouse build number - 35.
System BIOS: Product Name - Proliant DL160 G6, BIOS - 033, Build date - 07/01/2013, ROM ID - 18DIM245

Re: HP DL160 g6 POST code 627
Hello,
I found an advisory related to the same issue(https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docId=emr_na-c02757955) however looks like you are already running on the recommended BIOS version as indicated in the advisory.
I found a similar error reported in another discussion thread : https://community.hpe.com/t5/ProLiant-Servers-ML-DL-SL/DL160G6-error-627-during-boot/td-p/6962142#.YLhVvPkzaMo
Hope it helps!

Hi ,
You can check after clearing CMOS --Refer document https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docLocale=en_US&docId=emr_na-c01728029 Page 121
If issue persist ,its may be the Lights-out management controller is faulty and you need to replace the same
