Inquiry about HPE Smart Array Status Outputs
Dear All,
I am currently working with an HPE Smart Array P408i-a SR Gen10 in Slot 0 (Embedded) on my server.
SSACLI Version: 5.30.6.0 2022-01-05
I have used the ssacli command to retrieve the configuration status, and I noticed that the physical drives are displaying a status of "OK." However, I am interested in understanding all the possible status values that can be encountered in the output of the command
$ ./ssacli ctrl all show config.
When I run '$ ./ssacli ctrl all show config,' I get the disk status as 'OK,' as shown in the output below.
I'm curious about the disk status in case of a failure. Could you please provide a list of all possible disk statuses shown in the output of the ssacli command?"
The output in case system is in good state:
HPE Smart Array P408i-a SR Gen10 in Slot 0 (Embedded)
Internal Drive Cage at Port 1I, Box 3, OK
Internal Drive Cage at Port 2I, Box 0, OK
Port Name: 1I (Mixed)
Port Name: 2I (Mixed)
Array A (SAS, Unused Space: 0 MB)
logicaldrive 1 (558.88 GB, RAID 0, OK)
physicaldrive 1I:3:1 (port 1I:box 3:bay 1, SAS HDD, 600 GB, OK)
Array B (SAS, Unused Space: 0 MB)
logicaldrive 2 (1.09 TB, RAID 0, OK)
physicaldrive 1I:3:2 (port 1I:box 3:bay 2, SAS HDD, 1.2 TB, OK
How about the other case such as: Moving disk, Remove Disk... could you guys please list out all these status via $ ./ssacli ctrl all show config.
Thanks you all
