Single Volume to Single Windows Server

Single Volume to Single Windows Server

Trying to connect a single volume to a single windows server.  I get it all the way through connection manager but never see it light up in disk managent.  Is hypre-v/failover needed to attach a single volume?

Can you tell us the HPE server model and is the issue related to Smart Array controller?
