UPS R6000
Hi,
R6000 UPS come by default with 4mm² cables. I believe it is a 32A output but these cables only allow 16A. Is it possible to change for a 6mm² cable?
Thanks,

Re: UPS R6000
Hi,
What is the UPS model or part number?
I got the part number as Q7G11A which is a HPE G2 R6000/60309 3-wire 32A/230V Outlets (4) C13 (4) C19 (1) IEC 32A/3U Rackmount INTL UPS.
Also refer to Model matrix - HPE G2 R5000, R6000, and R8000 UPS models.
Please check the QuickSpecs and matrix page to see if the cable you are referring is compatible.
Thank You!

Re: UPS R6000
Hi @Suman_1978 ,
Yes, that would be the Q7G11A. Thanks for the link. My question would be: is it possible to change the 4mm² cable to a 6mm² cable? This is not an option in Quickspec. Would it still be under warranty if we decide to make the change?
Thanks for your help.

Re: UPS R6000
Hi,
If 6mm² cable is not listed, I presume its not compatible.
I would suggest you to contact a HPE Reseller or HPE Support to get more clarity on this issue, including warranty question.
Thank You!

Re: UPS R6000
All listed spares are there in quick specs. Beyond that HPE has not tested beyond anything.
