Re: Windows Home Server Setup Issues (Drivers missing for network cards)
Hello,
You may try the "HPE ProLiant MicroServer Gen8 driver page for network card" driver and see if it helps. If the network is an non-UD

Re: Windows Home Server Setup Issues (Drivers missing for network cards)
hi thanks for the reply.
it dont work for me no matter what i do.
the only way i can make the drivers work is if i reboot the system and hold F8 and chose to disable driver signing then it will work.
but if the server reboots then i have to do it all over again or i wont have any network access

Re: Windows Home Server Setup Issues (Drivers missing for network cards)
Hello @jasonr2000
Windows Home Server 2011 is not a compatible Operating system for a HP Microserver Gen8. Please refer to the compatibility matrix to view the supported/compatible Operating systems - https://www.hpe.com/us/en/collaterals/collateral.a50010742enw.html
Server only supports :
Windows Server 2012
Windows Server 2012 R2
Windows Server 2016
Drivers will only be available on the HPE support site for supported/compatible operating systems.

Re: Windows Home Server Setup Issues (Drivers missing for network cards)
hi thanks for the reply.
i understand it may not be a supported OS officially
but i got it to install and work if i disable signed drivers.
but everytime it needs to reboot i have to enable unsigned drivers for it to connect to the network and then all is ok.

Re: Windows Home Server Setup Issues (Drivers missing for network cards)
Hello @jasonr2000
Unfortunately, there's no way around it. As its an unsigned driver that is being used,

Re: Windows Home Server Setup Issues (Drivers missing for network cards)
Could you please elaborate how a "signed compatible/supported" driver is being used for Windows SBS 2011 when HPE hasn't made it available ?

Re: Windows Home Server Setup Issues (Drivers missing for network cards)
sure
i went to the support pages for the HP Microserver
and went to this driver https://support.hpe.com/connect/s/softwaredetails?language=en_US&collectionId=MTX-23163b2944e54e9b&tab=releaseNotes
as it says its compatible with windows home server 2011 i installed the driver and the network card worked perfectly but i had to do so by turning off the signed driver enforcement.
and then as i said it works no problem
