bandwidth is reduced when using set field actions

 Hi

I am developing an application multicasting. but when I apply the flow with Set field  bandwidth is reduced to 1.1 Mbits / s

I' am using switches HP 3800 with  K.15.14.006  and Hp Van controller 2.0

What setting can I change to the switch?

Thank you

Re: bandwidth is reduced when using set field actions

Table 200 is a software table. rewriting ip adresses by set field in software should be limited. Typically you can set fields like port, vlan, eth source and eth destination in hardware (table 100).

3800 with K15.15.006 is the latest software.

In the Openflow Administrator manual you can see which fields can be altered in hardware.

Re: bandwidth is reduced when using set field actions

Hello armandom,

For HP Switch 3800 recommended firmware is KA so please update to KA.15.15.0006 and let us know if you still face the issue.

Thanks
