Software Defined Network SWOT

Hello, 

 

I am new on this forum.

I've begin to learn about the SDN technology, and I want to know more about it.

I need you to help me, if you can. 

First of all, 

What are the strenghs and weaknesses of the SDN ? What about the opportunities and the threats ? (SWOT)

How can I manage to change my Company 'BIG' network ? Whats are the best way to do that ? And what the reason to use SDN instead of NFV? (whats is the difference)
