Automatically sent AHS logs not reliable for support ?

Hello everyone,

We have all our iLO's 5 registered to remote support server and we can trigger "Send Active Health System Report" each time we have some failure in our system. However, each time we are opening case to HPE support they are saying they still need the logs manually downloaded from iLO and then uploaded to HPE FTP server. I have received information from one of the support engineers that there are some discrepancies between the automatically collected and manually downloaded AHS logs and therefore we have to manually send them. The question is - is that true and if yes, then what would be the purpose of the automatic logs ?

Regards,

Robert W.

Whenever you log a case you can mention the logs have been uploaded in the AHS catalogue. However will pass on this feedback.
