Hpe AMD Mi250 Gpu Testing
Hi there
I have been tasked with putting together a system to allow me to test faulty and non faulty AMD MI250 Gpu's (Hpe Branded) Part Number's
P41932-001 / P41354-001 / 100-300000005 and P41933-001 / P41858-001 / 100-300000016
I am looking for help on what would the bare minimum equipment require to perform such a task. A budget server would be ideal and any advise or help would also be greatly appreciated, i have never worked with this type of GPU before
Regards David .

Re: Hpe AMD Mi250 Gpu Testing
I have been tasked with setting up a system to test both faulty and non-faulty AMD MI250 GPUs, specifically HPE-branded units with part numbers P41932‑001 / P41354‑001 / 100‑300000005 and P41933‑001 / P41858‑001 / 100‑300000016. I am looking for guidance on the bare minimum equipment required for this task. Ideally, I would like to use a budget server that can support PCIe Gen4, sufficient CPU power, and enough memory to properly drive these GPUs. Additionally, I need advice on software, drivers, and diagnostic tools, as EquifaxCredit login I have never worked with MI250 GPUs before. Any practical tips on cooling, power requirements, and automated testing procedures would also be greatly appreciated.
