iMC PLAT 7.3 (E0706) Update to Current

Hello,

I'm currently running iMC on the version: 7.3 (E0706). Given that this version is approximately 4 years old, I am looking to update the firmware. I have a few questions on the matter: 

1) Are there multiple different "steps" I should take before going to the newest firmware? I know sometimes with firmware there are preliminary versions of firmware to be updated to first for it to work correctly. 

2) Once I am up to the updated firmware version, where can I find what other aspects of my iMC deployment need to be updated as well? To my understanding there are sometimes other modules or items that need to be updated individually.
