Re: ADU Reader

Yes the link @shiva_jr  shared is not working .

@SK_jsr

Good day, can you give a try to below instructions:

- Do not attempt to write any data to the array. This can prevent further corruption and data loss.

- Try running the HPE ADU

- Boot into the HPE Smart Storage Administrator (SSA) or Intelligent Provisioning and check the status of the drives in the RAID configuration.

- Look for any indicators of SMART failures, predictive failures, or additional issues with the remaining drives.

- If possible, immediately back up any remaining accessible data from the storage.

- If the data is critical, please contact support  before proceeding with disk replacements.

- Replace the two failed drives only after diagnosing the array's current state with the ADU.

- If more than two drives in a RAID 5 array are faulty, the array will likely become irrecoverable unless a valid backup is available.

- after replacing the drives, attempt a rebuild if the array allows it. Be aware that the success of the rebuild depends on the condition of the remaining disks.

- If the array cannot rebuild and the data cannot be recovered, you may need to recreate the RAID array.

Also. for this: does any one having ADU Reader for better outcome before replacement of faulty hard drive. I tried to find the info and got the info saying HPE doesn't provide a standalone ADU Reader anymore. However, you can check with support for further assistance.

I hope this helps, let me know.
