Data Protector Installation On Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4
On the Plataform and Integration Support Matrix there's an entry for the plataform however when i try to install it from the Installation Server Media for IA 64 (I'm running it on a Sun Server with Opteron Prosessor 64 bits) There is a message saying that the plataform is not supported.
Do Anyone know about this problem ?

Re: Data Protector Installation On Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4
The IA64-architecture belongs to Intel Itanium CPUs, I think. AMD Opteron Processors need x86_64 Media.
I hope this helps you.
