DSM,loadbalancing and MaxRequestTimeout

Hello,

I have 2 questions :

1. We use on all our servers HP storageworks DSM MPIO.
   In the course I followed at HP it was indicated that
   enable load balancing should not be enabled when using DSM.

A) Is this correct  and can I just check/uncheck this if needed ?

B) What will (happen) be the problem if load balance is enabled on a DSM-connected volume ?

2.    If your are using HP DSM is it still required to change the maxrequestholdTime from 60 to 600 or is this no longer needed?
