Firmware maintenace 9.0
Is it supported to flash the storage nodes with the latest firmware maintenance CD. I can't find anything about it on the web.

Re: Firmware maintenace 9.0
Ivanbre wants to know if there is support to upgrade the ProLiant-based P4000 boxes with the V9.0 firmware maintenance DVD.

Re: Firmware maintenace 9.0
However, there are advisories related to disk firmware that points directly to the maintenance media.
Example:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?objectID=c01186030&dimid=1011887634&dicid=alr_jan08&jumpid=em_alerts/us/jan08/all/xbu/emailsubid/mrm/mcc/loc/rbu_category_Advisory(Revision/alerts
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: Firmware maintenace 9.0
I flashed the nodes as the documentation is really "good" as usual.

Re: Firmware maintenace 9.0
However, they will release those patches as official "SAN/iQ" patches once they have been regression tested, so in general it is probably best practice to wait for the official patches for LeftHand nodes.
There's a non-answer for ya! ;)
