FOM in ESX
Hello,
I have a LeftHand storage with VMware ESX
The settings are as follows:
- The Failover Manager virtual machine is configured in VMware vSphere in a storage LUN
- Set in the storage,a cluster with two nodes
- The Bond on network cards are as active / passive because I have connected two switch iscsi
I have a problem when I turn off one node LeftHand, then I lose connectivity with resources and with the virtual machine FOM, this shows an error: "Error opening connection to"
How should I properly configure my storage?
Thanks

Re: FOM in ESX
Not sure if I'm interpreting your question correctly, but it sounds like you have your FOM sitting on a LUN on your P4000 clusters?
You don't want to do this. The FOM needs to be on local storage or storage that will still be available to ESX if the P4000 cluster goes down.

Re: FOM in ESX
Thanks for answer
Yes, the problem is that FOM is in LUN.
I will migrate this VM in different Storage,
