HP stops with VMware?

Some of my sales guys came back from some HP virtualization platform here in the Netherlands. He told me that HP is stopping with VMware and will be focusing on MS and Citrix. It's unclear what they meant with it but i'm also hearing rumours that lefthand is going hyper-v all in.

Anyone got more news about it?

This is nothing but a ill advised rumor. HP has a strong relationship with VMware and will continue one in the future. HP is expanding its relationship with Citrix and MS thus expanding its virtualization customer base.

I just went to a customer advisory council meeting and this is completely and utterly false.

If anything, VMWare and HP are strengthening their relationship. Looking at the roadmap for SAN/iQ, there's a tremendous amount of development targeted at VMWare based solutions.

HP is opening up a bit more to MSFT and Citrix though, but there seems to be nowhere near as much emphasis as there is on VMWare based platforms.
