LACP - load balancing mode
I am planning to add a cluster of 4 P4500 lefthands to a Cisco 2960 stack.
I would want to use 802.3ad for load sharing.
There 3 VMware hosts connected to the same switch.
The VMware hosts are using EtherChannels. The only load balancing mode supported by VMware is "src-dst-ip" on the Cisco switch. This value is global for both EtherChannel and LACP.
I couldn't find any reference what the supported or recommended load balancing mode is for the lefthands when running 802.3ad
Is it OK to set it to "src-dst-ip" on the Cisco side?
