StoreVirtual syslog splunk troubleshooting

I need to use a Splunk server to collect logs from various StoreVirtual storages.

I performed the actions described on page https://support.hpe.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=emr_na-c04855287 but no event is recorded in the Splunk server.

Where can I get more detailed information about the syslog confnguration in the StoreVirtual storage?

How can I troubleshoot the problems if messages are not recorded?
