Engine length errors
I receive this snmp trap once in a while from a good old HP 4000M: "AddrMgr: Switch Engine length errors". I see nothing in the switch event log. Any idea what it is ?

I suspect this is your answer:
These messages indicate that the switch forwarding engine receives an IP packet of a length that is less than the minimum allowed length and then drops the packet.
