root disk replace in rp7410 without mirroring
hi,
i have one rp7410 server. there is only one root/boot disk. i have to replace the disk because there was something wrong with the disk. so how can i do that???? i have no mirror-ux software and also have no tape drive to take ignite backup. so how i can replace the disk? can anyone please help me regarding this issue?

With no mirror and no backup, your only choices are to a) do an Ignite network recovery or b) re-install the OS.

Hi, in another OS ,it is possible to reinstall from another disk if previously backed up on it. But I am not sure is it possible for HP if you can able to alternate path to boot from another disk ? and after all you have to have backup already. So seems hard in this way.
Most logical solution is that reinstall with OS DVD or CD, if you do not have ignite backup..
