root passwd change file

Dear Sirs,

Kindly show me the file that has the number of times one has changed the root password in HP-UX 11.23

There is no file that I know of that shows this.

Trusted system:
/usr/lbin/getprpw -m spwchg root


last -R -100 root


If the system is not trusted, its a little bit harder.

To convert to trusted:

Not a great idea as trusted system is obsolete and 11.31 is the last version of the OS that will support trusted.

This will show WHEN the password was last changed, not the number of times it has been changed.

>>last -R -100 root

This will show when root has logged into the system.

view and check /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log
