You could use VRRP but it looks like the 2920 doesn't support it.

Feature lists and matrix for lastes code.

Re: Multiple internet gateways switchover

i means my switch is connect to 2 router, router1 connect to port1 and router2 connect to port2

- primary is using router1 in port1 for internet access

- but i want to configure if router1 internet failed, it will automatics switch over to router2 in port2 for internet access

is this posible?

Re: Multiple internet gateways switchover

Problem is you would have a default gateway set on your clients and you would need to have multiple gateways set and you cannot. It doesn't matter the ports being used.

You could look at your router configuration to do this not the switch then.

Just my thoughts.

Re: Multiple internet gateways switchover

1) Is  your switch able to do routing L2 or L3 switch

2) make and model of the switch

 3) Your end clients gateway is on the router

4) if the default gateway is your router, and if you have an L3 switch then we can make the L3 switch as your default gateway.

5) then use floating static on the L3 switch ,so that your auto failover from ISP1 to ISP 2 happens.
