Hi,
Im installing a Hp 1920 swich, like in the image, and i setup like this:
Vlan10- ip:192.168.1.198 Mask:255.255.255.0
Vlan20- ip:192.168.20.1 Mask:255.255.255.0
vlan30- ip:192.168.30.1 Masc:255.255.255.0
On the swich i put a route :Destination IP:0.0.0.0 Mask:0.0.0.0 Next Hop:192.168.1.250
I have the tp-link wifi router connect to the swich on vlan10, it have a route (destination ip:192.168.20.0 Mask:255.255.255.0 Default Gateway:192.168.1.198) to have internet on Vlan20.
My problem is that i have a PC (IP:192.168.1.16) connected to the router, and other PC (192.168.20.123) connected to the swich on vlan20 but they don't comunicate between them.
Thanks for the help.

Re: Hp 1920 Vlan Setup
I can think of a couple of possible reasons.
First make sure the clients point to the correct default gateway. On VLAN 20 and 30, it must be the 1920 (192.168.20.1 and 1921.68.30.1 respectively). On VLAN 1 it could be either the 1920 (192.168.1.198) or the tp-link (192.168.1.250). The best choice would be the tp-link but it is possible that it doesn't support routing traffic back out the interface it received it on.
Second, make sure that a firewall isn't blocking traffic. For example, Windows firewall will block pings if they are received from a device that is not on their local subnet. Make sure the clients can ping all the addresses on the 1920 and the tp-link too.

Re: Hp 1920 Vlan Setup
Hi, thanks for the help,
at the moment the firewall on all the PCs are deactivated, so thats is not the problema. The gateway on the PCs are correct too.
The PC on Vlan20 ping to the PC on Vlan30 with no problem, But from de Vlan20 to the PC connect to the router do not ping. When i put the PC on the router ping the PC on Vlan20 it works fine, but if i put the PC on Vlan20 ping to the PC on the router don't work. But If i put them pinging each other at the same time they ping correctly.
Sorry i'm a beginer on this subject.

Re: Hp 1920 Vlan Setup
Hi, I had the same setup, I've set my tplink dhcp server with my vlan IP where it's connect on, renew address on each PC outside the 1920s and everyone can ping each other.
