8000n error Event id 61 windows03 server
This is the message i am getting when anyone trys to print to the printer. I deleted the port and recreated it I also reinstalled the printer on the print server. I have been at it for a day with no luck. anyone have an idea? thanks

Given that the error messages above relate to printing via a printer share on another computer, it might be a good idea to try and create a Standard TCP/IP printer port or JetDirect port instead (if the printer is connected directly to the network via a JetDirect card or similar).
If that is not an option - then look into the permissions for the printer share.

GO to the services ->open Print spooler services --> in that you will find recovery tab select it --> in that there is 3 startup type is mention. You select for all the 3 action taken steps as "Restart the service" then apply & ok.Your problem will be solved permanently.

I've tried all the suggestions except the last "Try changing the print definition from RAW to EMF". I'm not quite sure what you mean by this Jon?
**I can access the plotter via jetadmin and alter/apply the network configurations. I can ping the plotter(obviously).
**I have the correct driver recommended by HP.
**I've tried installing the ports with both standard TCP/IP and HP TCP/IP.
**I've restarted the spooler. Although. I don't think it has anything to do with the spooler because it does seems to spool fine.
**I've checked the permissions and they are the same as all 5 other (working) HP printers on my network.
Any other ideas?

I could try another IP I guess.

I'm still in search of a solution as to why I get the error from the print server.
